I learned something just now, while I was proofreading this page, so I am adding a brief article. When I clicked the Apache Software Foundation link in my page, my IE web browser tried to open http://www.jbytechnologies.com/www.apache.org. I looked and looked at my href and didn't see anything wrong. I tried it in Safari and it worked, but it still failed in IE and Chrome. Then I finally noticed that I had http:/www.apache.org instead of http://www.apache.org. So, I have learned that missing slash causes browsers to look under the local root directory for the page.
